Moving Services Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any Hidden Charges for your moving services?
We operate a system which shows a full breakdown of our moving services charges, which includes VAT, insurance and supply of packing materials.
Are we Insured?
Yes, up to a value of £25,000 on an indemnity basis; this however can be increased to a maximum of £100,000. Additional cover can be arranged.
What happens if I find a breakage/damage?
In the unlikely event of a damage/breakage happening, claims are dealt with efficiently and amicably.
Can you do a Full/Part Packing Service?
We can offer a glass, china and breakable packing service or a complete packing service. Our staff are fully trained and complete their work efficiently and with the utmost respect.
Who can move my Piano?
Hooleys staff are very experienced in the removal of upright, baby grand, boudoir grand and concert grand pianos. Each vehicle is equipped with the required trucks and covers to ensure smooth and efficient removal.
How many vehicles do you have?
Eight in total, varying in size from 20 tonnes to 7.5 tonnes. Each vehicle is equipped with built-in living quarters for the staff.
How many moving services staff do you have?
Twenty two. All are fully trained removal people, with over two hundred years experience between them.
