About Hooleys Removals and Storage…

Hooleys Removals Company Cheshire began trading in 1922. Back then we used horse drawn vehicles for general cartage. As the company grew local people would ask for assistance to remove their furniture. This is how we became known as the local Cheshire Mover.

Later with the arrival of motor vehicles, house removals and storage became our main business. Slowly the general haulage side of the business was phased out and horses became a thing of the past.

As you can see the first motor vehicles used to conduct house removals were not the most practical. But with time they were developed into purpose built removal vehicles that are fully equipped to cope with any house removal.

Hooleys Removal Company Cheshire has always traded from the Wilmslow & Cheadle area as we still do today. Most of the work undertaken is generally by recommendations from people who have been moved by Hooleys Removals before. Our House Removals are carried out both locally and nationally using our own fully uniformed staff and sign written purpose built house removals vehicles.

We are still a family run company, with our experience in the house moving industry being passed down through the generations.

We now operate from our purpose built storage facility in Stockport. We now use a containerised storage system which is much more secure and efficient compared with older conventional storage methods. This site is very modern and fully secure with 24 hours Red Care Security and round the clock CCTV monitoring.
